General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
§ 1 Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concluded with Collective Security Mindset gUG (haftungsbeschränkt) i.G., Zollhof 7, 90443 Nuremberg, Germany (hereinafter referred to as "Collective Security Mindset") concerning the provision of events, on-site training courses, Online-Live sessions, or eLearning programs. All communications and notifications issued by Collective Security Mindset in relation to the execution of these contracts and addressed to applicants or participants of training courses and events shall be deemed official communications from the organization.
Courses conducted under official license from third-party bodies are subject to those applicable regulations regarding course content and examination procedures. However, all contractual, financial, and organizational matters—including registration, payments, and cancellation policies—are governed by these General Terms and Conditions.
§ 2 Registration
Purchase of eLearning or self-paced products, as well as registration for participation in on-site or Online-Live training events, may be completed via the Collective Security Mindset website, in writing, by email, or using a reservation form. Registrations will be processed in the order in which they are received. If the registration is accepted and space is available, the participant will receive a confirmation. Upon receipt of the confirmation, a binding contract is concluded, subject to § 4.
Collective Security Mindset reserves the right to withdraw from the contract if the required minimum number of participants is not reached (§ 4). If the selected course is fully booked, the participant will be informed and, if possible, proposed alternative dates or events. Once the minimum number of participants is reached, a final confirmation of execution will be sent no later than four weeks prior to the start of on-site courses and two weeks prior to Online-Live courses.
§ 3 Participation Fees
Current course fees are listed on the official website. Examination fees are only included if explicitly stated in the course description. Travel and accommodation costs are not included in the participation fee. VAT is not included in the eLearning course fees. The invoiced amount for on-site and Online-Live courses must be paid in full within seven (7) days of receipt unless otherwise agreed. For the purchase of eLearning or self-paced courses, full payment must be made at the time of purchase.
§ 4 Course Delivery and Cancellation
Courses are delivered by qualified instructors; however, there is no entitlement to instruction by a specific trainer. For Online-Live courses, participants are responsible for their own technical equipment and internet access. Access credentials for online platforms must not be shared with third parties.
Collective Security Mindset is not liable for the timeliness, accuracy, or completeness of course content, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence. The organization reserves the right to change the location, time, or structure of a course or cancel it entirely if necessary. In case of cancellation by Collective Security Mindset, any fees already paid will be refunded.
§ 5 Cancellation by Participant
The participant may cancel their registration up to four (4) weeks prior to the start of an on-site course or two (2) weeks prior to an Online-Live course. Timely cancellations entitle the participant to a full refund. Cancellations received after the deadlines mentioned above or no-shows will result in the full course fee being charged. eLearning and self-paced courses are non-refundable once purchased.
§ 6 On-site Rules and Netiquette
In on-site courses, participants must comply with venue regulations. For Online-Live courses, participants must adhere to "Netiquette" standards. Violations may result in exclusion from the course.
§ 7 Liability
Collective Security Mindset shall be liable without limitation only for intent or gross negligence. In cases of minor negligence, liability is limited to breaches of material contractual obligations ("cardinal duties") and is restricted to foreseeable and typical damages. These limitations also apply to legal representatives and agents. Claims for injury to life, body, or health remain unaffected.
§ 8 Intellectual Property Rights
All videos, documents, and training materials provided by Collective Security Mindset are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or shared—even in part—without prior written consent. Audio or video recordings of any sessions are strictly prohibited.
§ 9 Online Dispute Resolution

§ 10 Final Provisions
Any ancillary agreements must be made in written form. Conflicting terms and conditions of the participant are not accepted. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for commercial clients or public entities is Nuremberg, Germany.

Below, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we inform you about the type, scope, and purpose of the processing of your personal data on this website.
Unless a more specific legal basis is stated in this Privacy Policy, the processing of your personal data is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Payment Processing
Stripe: We use Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. to process online payments. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Stripe is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
PayPal: We offer payments via PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. Data processing is necessary for payment processing and is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
E-Commerce & Learning Management
WooCommerce: Our online store is powered by WooCommerce (Automattic Inc.). Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
LearnPress: We use the LearnPress plugin to deliver online training. We store data such as course history and learning progress based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Chatbot: tawk.to
We use the tawk.to chatbot to assist users. Data processed includes IP address, chat content, and interaction time. Processing is conducted using machine learning algorithms to improve service. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Cookies & Consent Management
Essential Cookies: We use cookies technically necessary for operation (preferences, security, functionality). Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Complianz: We use Complianz to display cookie banners and log preferences in accordance with Article 6(1)(c) and (a) GDPR.
Contact Forms & Blogs
Contact Forms: Mandatory fields are used to respond to inquiries. Data are deleted once no longer required.
Blogs: We use platforms such as WordPress or Blogger. Anonymous usage data is collected to evaluate effectiveness.

External Services: We use Mailchimp and widgets from LinkedIn, Facebook, X, WhatsApp, and Instagram.
Google AdWords & Remarketing: We use these for advertising and click tracking. Users can opt out via: www.google.de/settings/ads.
Embedded Videos: We embed videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.). Loading content transmits usage data.
